This year, we celebrate our 35th year in business, making GENEVA one of the longest established management & training companies.  Back in 1988, a tremendous number of memorable events took place; some historic, some exciting and others were more poignant.

It was the year of Eddie The Eagle, Eggwina Currie and George Bush senior’s claim of ‘no new taxes’.

Sandy Lyle won the US Masters, Ben Johnson 'won' the 100m at the Seoul Olympics and the Netherlands win the European Championship with Guillet, Rijkaard and Van Basten.

Piper Alpha, the Clapham Rail tragedy and Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, are indelible in our memories.

A Fish Called Wanda, Beetlejuice, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Die Hard and Rain Man. Rick Astley, The Pet Shop Boys, Yazz, Cliff, Kylie and Jason, all hit the charts.

The Hubble space telescope was put into operation, plans unveiled for Canary Wharf, Australia celebrated 200 years and and Rihanna, Adele and Princess Beatrice were born.

It was also the birthday of Geneva Management.
